Health professional license

Before you can start working in the United Arab Emirates as a healthcare professional, you will need to register with the relevant health authority and obtain a license. In the United Arab Emirates there are different health authorities for the different Emirates. If you want to work in Dubai, you must go to the Dubai Health Authority. For Abu Dhabi, you must apply to the Health Authority Abu Dhabi. For any of the other Emirates, you will need a Ministry of Health license.


Applying to the relevant health authority and obtaining your health license is a lengthy process and involves the legalization of documents, verification of your documents and often an exam to test your professional knowledge and skills.
